When building patios or retaining walls, we excavate thoroughly, haul away loose clay or rock, and pack heavy limestone aggregate to keep the structure from shifting. For planting, we condition soil with organic compost, install efficient drip lines that put water straight to the root zone, and select species that naturally handle full heat.

Total cost depends on square footage, site accessibility, ground slope, and the materials you choose. A gravel fire pit area takes less labor and raw material than a hand-cut flagstone patio built on a reinforced concrete slab. Steep slopes or tight access points that limit heavy equipment also affect how long the build takes.
